I am currently working with an Insurance client who are looking for support within their Technical Underwriting function.
The Technical Wordings Underwriter will work with the Underwriting community & CUO Office to raise the quality of draftsmanship / mark ups within our wordings. Leading to better business performance and customer outcomes through clearer wordings, reduced Underwriting leakage, and exposure to strategic risks managed within acceptable limits.
Technical requirements;
- Reviewing Policy docs, identifying what needs to change and be updated.
- Write technical wording content and the impact of the recent FCA court judgements on wordings.
- General insurance and recent court judgement on business interruption.
- Manage wording relationships and stakeholder at all levels.
