Financial Reporting Accountant

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and periodic financial reports.
  • Perform variance analysis to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial data and insights.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Conduct financial research and analysis to support decision-making processes.

Key Skills:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (IFRS, UK GAAP)
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Insurance experience required
