Looking to hire a Senior AWS Cloud Database Engineer to join a client's Enterprise Database Management Team. You will be focused on Cloud-Based technologies as well as on-premise database technologies, primarily SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining standards, implementing automation, and delivering self-serve capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in design, development, and implementation of database architecture and solutions
- Perform and drive end-to-end execution from roadmap to implementation of database consolidations, migrations, and upgrades
- Implement automation using Ansible, Python, Terraform, Git
- Experience with the development of POC's for database cloud solutions.
- Expert level understanding of Infrastructure in VMWare and AWS database environments
