Technical Product Manager - Insurance
Dublin (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite per week)
Job Summary:
Our client, a leading global insurance provider, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the delivery of digital and core platform enhancements. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, business, and compliance teams to manage product roadmaps, define technical requirements, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the product backlog, roadmap, and delivery timelines.
Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and user stories.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders.
Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
Ensure product features align with security, compliance, and architectural standards.
Analyse performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Facilitate UAT and support go-live readiness and adoption.
Key Skills & Experience:
5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in insurance or financial services.
Strong technical understanding of APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, or insurance core systems (e.g., Guidewire).
Proven Agile/Scrum experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working on regulatory, digital transformation, or cybersecurity projects is a plus.
