Our client is a top tier life insurance company with business across the globe. They are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to join their Financial Reporting team. As a reputable and sizeable firm across the industry, their Financial Reporting team is well established with sufficient support. The right candidate will handle BAU reporting duties, focusing on IFRS closing for their group office.
Duties:
- Performs financial closing
- Maintains proper accounting records in accordance with the relevant accounting standards
- Implements control procedures to assure financial data integrity and quality assurance of financial reports
- Liaises with external auditor
- Assists with the UAT of IFRS 17 enhancement
Requirements:
- Degree holder from Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline
- 4 years accounting experience within insurance industry
- CPA qualification is preferred
- IFRS 17 knowledge is a plus
- Proficient in using Excel
