URGENT: Tax Transformation Manager - start in February 2024

One of the leading companies in its Industry is looking for an experienced Tax Transformation Consultant/Manager to support them with the massive Digital transformation ongoing for the next few years.
Primary duties:

- Report to the Finance Functional Stream Lead and collaborate with Process Owners and other subject matter experts to discuss process design, seek process design decisions, and escalate blockers when necessary.
- Lead the sub-team responsible for delivering the ERP solution for Finance - Tax Management and coordinate resources and activities to execute the agreed plan.
- Gain insight into tax-related functionalities and capabilities in the new ERP solution and guide best practices for tax-related processes.
- Comprehend the current accounting cycle, tax processes, and challenges of the Client, collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders to define related business requirements and offer solutions to align different requirements and design future processes.
- Lead cross-functional collaborations and offer guidance on cross-functional requirements based on future process design.
- Work closely with the Technical team and system integrator (SI) to define a comprehensive solution that delivers the future process and meets business requirements.
- Be responsible for testing future processes, developing user manuals, contributing to training materials, and supporting change management as needed to implement the new ERP solution.
- Coordinate internal resources and activities to deliver process mapping & design, data analysis, blueprint designing, training, testing, and other activities required to design and implement the necessary functionality for Finance and broader strategic objectives for the Company.

Qualifications:

- A recognized university degree in Taxation and Accounting.
- Qualified accountant with HKICPA or other recognized professional accounting bodies.
- At least 8 years of working experience in MNC and/or Big 4, including a minimum of 5 years of MNC experience with hands-on experience of end-to-end tax processes.
- Technical knowledge of tax regulatory disclosure requirements, tax development over the region, and a strong understanding of relevant accounting standards such as HKAS12.
- Experience in ERP/EPM with Oracle or similar systems in financial modules.
- Capable of cross-functional collaboration in complex program structures with multiple workstreams and third-party suppliers.
- Experience in managing business stakeholders and owners through complicated ERP change and transformation.
- Agile ways of working experience is beneficial.

Technical/Functional Competencies:

- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to introduce and implement technical solutions.
- Strong facilitation, organization, and decision-making skills with business acumen.
- Assertive with outstanding influencing and communication skills.
- Systematically manages plans, deliverables, and risks.
- Understanding of ERP/Finance System systems is a bonus.
