Job Description:
A leading life insurance provider is currently seeking a highly skilled Technical IT Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in migration projects within the life insurance industry. They will be responsible for ensuring successful implementation and seamless integration of systems within the organisation. This is a regional role, and so it is beneficial to have cross border experience, specifically working with offices in South East Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects focused on migration of policy administration system in the life insurance domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT developers, and external vendors, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, time lines, and budgets, while ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance regulations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, effectively managing any issues that arise throughout the project life cycle.
- Oversee resource allocation, ensuring the availability of necessary skills and expertise to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a Technical IT Project Manager, preferably in the life insurance industry.
- Extensive knowledge of policy administration systems and migration processes.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
