Tech Lead - Underwriting Revamp project

We are looking for a seasoned Tech Lead with strong understanding in Core Insurance business, ideally Underwriting / Policy Admin System revamp focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the NB & Underwriting modernization project
  • Act as an advisor to product owner to develop end-to-end solution related to Agency mobile app, eKYC solution, NB workbench, Munich Re rule engine, Enterprise API, and the integration to Back-office system, like Ingenium, claims, Centre log and imaging system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, ensure clear communication in business understandable terminology and alignment on technical implementation.
  • Act as the primary owner of the overall technical design. Maintenance the list of technical integration items. Drive discussion to identify action items till closure.
  • Lead cross functional teams, including external vendors, developers, testers, and operations staff to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure that the implementation process adheres to best practices and quality standards, conducting thorough testing before final deployment

Requirements:

  • At least 15+ years of working experience, proven track record in Technical role within Underwriting and Policy Admin revamp projects
  • Strong understanding of cloud native API development, integration layer from digital front end to back end legacy system.
  • Experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of compliance and security standards relevant to cloud implementation
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English preferred
