Position Overview: As a System Engineer , you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with our senior engineers and IT team to ensure the seamless operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Windows, Azure, networking, Terraform, Ansible, and scripting in Bash or PowerShell. Additionally, knowledge of Python and Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of Windows-based systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to manage Azure-based resources and services.
- Handle networking tasks, including configuring switches and ensuring optimal network performance.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IAC) using Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop and maintain scripts in Bash or PowerShell for automation purposes.
- Contribute to the overall stability and security of our IT environment.
- Explore and apply Python and IAAS solutions to enhance infrastructure efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in system engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and resources.
- Proficiency in networking concepts and switch configuration.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure management.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Python and IAAS is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
