My client in Salford Quays are a cloud based software organisation who provide various solutions for social housing, local authority and healthcare sectors are looking for their very first Automated QA to drive their automated testing function. They are a small organisation but the impact they have on these sectors is considerable and they are considered a highly ethical organisation that make a difference.
The business offers a flexible working model after Covid with a mix of a couple of days at home and office based work with flexible hours. The offices are based in Salford Quays

The ideal QA Automation Engineer will have:
* 2+ years previous experience working as a QA Automation Engineer on web-based & database applications
* Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
* Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
* White box and black box testing
* Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
* Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
* Solid knowledge of verifying API functionality & performance, particularly RESTAPIs
* Experience with non functional with performance, load and security testing
We are also looking for people with personal skills like:
* Excellent communication skills to fully understand, question and report on work requests.
* Flexible and reliable in approach to work.
* Ability to work in a small team in an autonomous way
