Would you like to work as an IT Auditor at a financial institution that is frontrunner in the field of technology? That bets on cloud computing, digitization of business processes and the role of data in this, but who also has an eye for sustainability in business operations and its role in society? Then they are looking for you!

Over the next three years, tje bank will adjust its technological foundation so that the latest cloud technology, in combination with digitization, data (analytics) and sustainability, supports optimal service provision to its customers. Within Group Audit we are looking for expansion for our team of technical specialists, a team with a (very) diverse composition.

They are looking for passionate IT Audit colleagues who have knowledge of current technological developments in the field of Cloud, Cyber Security, Networks and API Banking, as well as colleagues who know a lot about database management systems and middleware. This is your chance to further put your added value as a professional into practice and to help the Bank further in its digital ambitions with a DevOPS way of working. You encourage management to take action based on connection and persuasiveness.

Your job

Group Audit has an independent position. You coordinate and conduct investigations, independently or in small teams, on complex audit issues in a rapidly changing IT environment. Based on your observations, you and the team arrive at a well-considered judgement and in a final meeting you convince the auditing of the necessary improvements where necessary. In a report you record the situation encountered, the identified shortcomings, the associated risks, the root cause and the agreed solutions. A job with impact, because your report will be read by the Board of Directors!

Your location is Amsterdam, but at the moment, like all other employees, we mainly work from home. We expect that after COVID we will also work less in the office than before. In short, plenty of flexibility to fill in your working day!

Working environment

Group Audit offers professional and independent assurance in achieving the objectives. We evaluate the design and effectiveness of the Governance, Risk Management and Control processes and initiate solutions to optimise them. We feel like "the messenger that makes the better bank"! You do this in a team, where we strive for efficiency through the use of automated audit tooling and data analysis. Our environment is always in motion, which means there is continuous variety in the performance of your work with an increasing focus on auditing of Cloud technology, DevOps and pooled audits at third (cloud) parties. An open mind, being creative and innovative thinking are therefore greatly appreciated.

Your profile

Do you want to see how the bank works and do you dare to be critical, while remaining sensitive to relationships within the business units? Do you want to contribute to the development and coaching of colleagues. Can your enthusiasm and strategic insight contribute to an improvement in the quality of risk management?

Then we may be looking for you! You can become our colleague if you at least meet the following

profile:

  • You are RE and you have at least 5-7 years of (Technical) IT Audit experience and / or you have a CISSP or CCSP certification.
  • You have concrete knowledge of and experience with (auditing) technical systems (platforms, Cloud, database management systems, middleware and networks) or other important developments such as API banking and DevOps.
  • The associated information security problem appeals to you and you know how to solve it.
  • You are enterprising and self-starting and have excellent oral and written (English) expression skills, whereby you can convey your message to management, supervisors and audit colleagues with conviction and in the interest of the customer.

They offer

A challenging and dynamic environment, in which you have the freedom to work independently and flexibly. You make an important contribution to the development of the bank, Group Audit and yourself to become future-proof!

The bank attaches great value to personal development and therefore offers you many training and career opportunities. You will receive an attractive package of employee benefits with which you can largely determine your own conditions. You also have a personal development budget of € 1,000 per year.

In addition, there is flexibility in working. A slightly longer commuting distance does not have to be an obstacle to showing your interest, because we also expect to work less in the office than before after COVID.
