This prospect offers the chance to join an established, international team, and involves working simultaneously in commercial and technical remits. An exciting opportunity has arose to join one of the strongest and highly-esteemed insurers globally as a Senior Risk Engineer. This prospect offers the chance to join an established, international team, and involves working simultaneously in commercial and technical remits. The company are one of the largest insurance firms worldwide and have a strong European presence.





Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with internal Underwriting teams as well as external stakeholders and clients
  • Providing your consultative expertise to help grow the portfolio's profitability and drive innovative projects forward
  • Working across field engineering and account engineering scopes through undertaking site visits, risk inspections and analysis, and risk reporting
  • Conducting loss prevention surveys, develop new risk tools and procedures,
  • Primarily assess Property (Fire Protection) and Power/Energy (Gas Turbines) risks



Requirements:

  • A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background ideally in Gas Turbine or Fire Protection
  • Preferably a minimum of 2 years in Insurance Risk Engineering
  • German and English linguistic fluency with the Right to Work in Germany
  • Communicative and solution-orientated work approach
  • Full Driver's License with the ability to travel
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
