Oliver James are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join an exciting IFRS17 regulatory change project on behalf of our leading digital Insurance client. The ideal candidate will come from an insurance background, with IFRS17 experience or similar regulatory work such as Solvency2
The ideal candidate will have experience working on IFRS 17 projects from an end to end perspective and requires solid Project Management experience across Life insurance and GI-related products. They must have a sound understanding of the commercial aspects of actuaries as well as the system implementations required. They must have worked on regulatory projects such as IFRS 17 within the Insurance industry and have the ability to deliver the project on time and ensuring the highest of standards are met.
- Experience working with IFRS17 or similar regulations such as Solvency2.
- A commercial understanding of actuarial profitability, and the risks posed by regulations.
- The role will bridge the gap between actuaries and the board. As such, a confident and comprehensive understanding of stakeholder expectations, management and communication skills up to C-suite/Director level.
- UK Life Insurance and Pensions background.
The role is based in St. Helens, London. The client expects the candidate to commute to their office once or twice a week for stakeholder meetings etc. and will be able to work remotely for the rest of their time.
The rate is £750/day (inside IR35). The initial contract length is 12 months, with the view to extend in the future if of interest.
