Our client, a leading finance institution, is looking for a Project Manager to manage and deliver complex data projects from initiation through to completion. This includes managing work streams and other resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams and oversee all aspects of data projects from initiation to deployment.
- Establish and maintain processes for scope management, quality standards, and risk assessment.
- Facilitate project communication between stakeholders, team members, and key stakeholders.
- Implement cloud and open-source capabilities to facilitate data management and governance.
- Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs to track project success and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Estimate project delivery timeframes and development resource needs.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to implement data platform capabilities, prioritizing requirements based on business advantages and data risk mitigation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in technology, engineering, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager with a proven track record of delivering large-scale data solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, integration, modeling, visualization tools, and data governance.
- Proven technical skills and understanding of technical/analytical concepts.
- Proficiency in SDLC project disciplines, experience with Agile methodologies, and a history of leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data platform, data warehousing, and reporting projects.
- Advanced project management certification (PMP or similar certification).
- Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English, both oral and written.
