Our Insurance is rapidly expanding and are currently seeking to hire Senior Operations Analyst. This role will report straight into the Operations Manager and will be based in City Centre in a hybrid working from home setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- As Senior Operations Analyst, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the effective management of multiple business portfolios;
- Managing policy administration across a multiple of Outsourced Service Providers ("OSP's) including intragroup outsourcing;
- Drive ownership of Governance of in-house and outsourced operations activities including providing support on any service reviews and assurance activities;
- Undertake portfolio performance analysis and reporting;
- Highlight any issues and incidents to the Operations Manager or COO as appropriate, ensuring ownership and corrective action is understood and followed up in a timely manner;
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the operations agenda in the best interest of the group at all times;
- As part of the operational and outsourcing team, be a catalyst for change by influencing and engaging the business, Management teams and Subject Matter experts;
- Provide Operations Support in the implementation of a suite of transformational Projects;
- Provide Business Analysis, MI and Administrative support for the Operations function;
- Complaint handling including responding to Regulatory complaints;
- Providing support to OSP's in relation to complex queries on all aspects of life insurance business, in particular unit linked savings and investments products; and
- Assess existing processes and identify areas of weakness for improvement and streamlining to industry best practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous insurance industry experience including variable annuity
- Prior Business Analysis experience would be a plus
