Senior Network Engineer | Basel
We're currently seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join one of our clients based in Basel. In this role you will assist in the maintenance and improvement of our client's Network and Communications platforms across their range of products and play a key role in the businesses wider IT team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, with a focus on security products.
- Develop communication designs from end-to-end.
- Oversee and lead Network Service Providers.
- Optimise traffic shaping patterns.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure network meets business needs.
- Monitor network performance
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience working with Palo Alto Networks products.
- Familiarity with other security products and experience implementing templates and template stacks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English
- Advanced network analysis and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with various satellite communication systems.
- CCIE/PCNSE or similar certification.
