We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Procurement to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for the MICE and Marketing categories, ensuring that the company is able to source the best products and services at the most competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for the MICE and Marketing categories, in line with the company's overall procurement objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements, and translate them into procurement specifications
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, and evaluate their suitability based on factors such as quality, cost, and delivery times
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring that they meet the company's requirements in terms of price, quality, and service levels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, and monitor their performance to ensure they are meeting contractual obligations
- Implement and monitor procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Provide guidance and support to team members, and ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the overall objectives of the company
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in procurement, with a focus on MICE and Marketing categories
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with procurement software and systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
