We are working with a highly regarded firm across the C&I space, currently looking to build out their well established SOC in Hong Kong searching for professionals with security testing, threat and vulnerability management experience at manager and senior manager levels. Job Description
- You will oversee the operations of threat analysis and patch management guidance based on security intelligence and ensure implementation teams for security patch rollouts.
- Coordinating with various business and IT representatives, you will conduct and arrange system and network vulnerability scans, rank and address risk points, securing in-house or acquired services from known threats and mainstream risks.
- You will supervise web scanning and code testing processes for home-grown applications, guiding IT peers and programmers on secure coding practices and safeguards for resilience against common attack patterns.
- By interacting closely with IT developers and operations, you will manage responses to security incidents, mitigating any potential impact, and ensuring remediation of weaknesses that caused the incident.
- Act as core cyber security representative for coordinating and driving closure of key cyber security threats and vulnerabilities
Job Requirements
- University degree or higher in IT, Management Information Systems, or something similar
- Certification in information security such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent
- 7+ years experience in IT roles is required, with a minimum of 4 years concentrated on cybersecurity and team management.
- Excellent presentation skills, particularly when communicating with a diverse audience and senior management.
- Experience working with large-scale IT systems and procedures, with a notable focus on security operations and incident response.
- Experience in managing a cybersecurity team or projects
