Our client, a successful investment firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut are currently seeking an Assistant Controller to join their growing finance department.
Description
- Working across complex investment structures you will be responsible for the ensuring all internal books and records are accurate and reconciled correctly with the fund administrator.
- You will review transaction documents and work with trade support to ensure proper internal reporting and GAAP statements.
- Review and manage delivery of investor allocations, capital calls, distributions and quarterly and year-end financial reporting
- Produce cash forecasts for treasury, risk management and front office
- Stay abreast of accounting and financial reporting standards, regulations and industry trends, providing guidance and implementing changes as necessary
Qualifications
- 4-8 years relevant experience preferably working with hedge funds and/or credit products.
- A background in either external audit, fund administration or direct industry experience
