Senior DevOps Engineer | Green Energy | Zurich | Flexible Working

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well established Swiss energy company based in Zurich. They have a fully in house platform (hardware & software) designed for white labelling to their customers needs. Their communications box directly communicates through power-lines of the customer's house to measure each individual's power consumption, this box will then be able to suggest cost saving methods through big data and predictive algorithms.

In this role you will work with a range of cutting edge technologies such as kubernetes, docker, AWS and terraform, ideally candidates will have some experience with an object orientated programming language like python or java. Engineers should have experience working in with the full product life cycle because engineers are given a lot of freedom and working autonomy in this company.

There will be a lot of greenfield projects and project planning with this role so candidates will need to have product development mindset. A successful candidate will understand the longevity and scalability of the solutions they provide.There will be an opportunity for experience engineers to step into a leadership position if they wish.

Tech:

Python or Java, SQL

Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform
