Oliver James is currently working with a leading Insurer in London who are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to shape their Cloud platform, deliver advanced architecture capabilities, and collaborate across their organisation.
As the global IT Cloud and Infra specialist, you will provide a complete vision for our transition to the cloud and develop best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop future state technology architecture across Public Cloud and Infrastructure.
- Create policies, standards, guidelines, and methods for cloud-based service design.
- Provide consultation for cloud migration using Azure.
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
- Promote DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automated release processes.
- Lead technical governance authorities.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on new technologies.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues.
- Mentor and improve Cloud practices.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in Cloud Enablement Design & Migration, Infrastructure Design, Identity, Distributed Technologies, and/or Messaging Technology within Financial Services.
- Knowledge of network architecture concepts and cyber security principles.
- Understanding of DevOps, pipelines, and automation tools.
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Microsoft Azure certifications preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
