My client is a reputable General Insurer, we are looking for a Risk and Compliance - Assistant Manager to join the team.
Scopes of the role will include the below:
Risk Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of components of Risk Management Framework, including but not limited to:
- Risk Appetite Statements and Metrics
- Risk profiling and Controls Self-Assessment
- Incident Management
- Business Continuity Management
- Outsourcing Risk Management
- Work closely with Information Security Officer to ensure cyber risks are managed
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of an Assurance Framework through planned annual/semi-annual controls testing of each functional area
Regulatory and Compliance:
- Assist in maintaining registers of all regulatory obligations and relevant controls, track controls implementation status thus ensuring that the company fulfils all its compliance obligations
- Assist in implementing Risk and Compliance policies and procedures
- Coordinate and monitor regulatory reporting/submissions
- Coordinate actions over regulatory and other insurance bodies' announcements and circulars
- Assist in the review of regulatory releases and preparation of responses to regulator's requests for information or reviews
- Support annual review of controls and controls testing
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
-Min 3 years' experience in Compliance and/or Risk Management
