The Job:

  • Carry out actuarial portfolio damage assessments in relation to IFRS17 financial statements.
  • Forecasting and planning for the clients property & casualty business
  • Actuarial reporting under VAG and SII frameworks
  • Creation and delivery of insurance positions under SII, contributing to further development of value and risk-oriented management
  • Responsible for data provision, quality assurance and further development of tools and systems used for both IFRS17 and SII frameworks
  • Carrying out regular reserve and profitability analyses for non-life entities within the business, communicating results to relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Working on group projects to further develop economic accounting structures (SII and IFRS17)

You:

  • Successfully completed a degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or another quantitatively oriented course. Ideally carrying a DAV or other accredited actuarial qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in actuarial non-life claims reserving. Experience in other actuarial fields will also be considered
  • Knowledge and proficiency with software packages such as: B. ResQ, R or SaS
  • Business fluent German and English - Other European languages considered a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, ability to communicate and work as part of a team, willingness to act independently and on your own initiative.
