Regulatory reporting Accountant - Luxembourg
Oliver James is working with one their best client, a global General insurance organisation to find their new Regulatory Reporting Accountant.
In a nutshell, the missions will consist into :
- Assisting the Regulatory Reporting team in the delivery of the regulatory returns at global scale.
- Working with the Lux GAAP and closely with the US GAAP and Legal Entity reporting teams to ensure consistency in processes.
- Providing support to External Audit, Internal audit, Actuarial and Risk teams for all regulatory reporting topics and issues. The Accountant will be supporting the Head of Regulatory Reporting and will work closely with other teams including Actuarial, Strategic Finance or Risk Management teams.
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with minimum 4 years of experience on Solvency II and accounting policies within the insurance industry. Ideally the company would prefer an accountant with a local lux regulatory background and strong accounting technical knowledge under US GAAP, Lux GAAP. An accountant based in France who can join their Parisian branch is also an option. Fluent English is mandatory, French is a strong asset.
