My client is a Multinational market leading Insurer.
We are looking for a Regional Risk Analytics - Associate Director to join the team, where the individual will work closely with the Risk Analytics Director to design and implement Risk Analytics projects across the Asia Pacific region.
This will be a high visibility role, where you'll be working with and engaging senior stakeholders across the region, such as Head of Departments, C-suites and Ex-Co members.
Responsibilities:
* Leading the Risk Analytics portfolio and overseeing the Data Analytics(DA) team to ensure the
audit plan is sufficiently supported and the quality of work is maintained.
* Owning the DA Methodology and working closely with the stakeholders to
continually develop the analytics strategy.
* Involved with the Risk Assessments by representing the DA team
and providing inputs into the planning process.
* Working with management and the other portfolio leads to continually uplift the
DA team to improve the support provided to the wider Risk team.
* Using data analytics programming languages (such as SQL, Python, R, VBA) to
support the business in their work from planning to closure, i.e. detecting
symptoms of control failures through insights from the data being analysed.
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in Data Analytics/Data Science
- Great communication & stakeholders engagement experience/skillsets
