Oliver James are representing a leading Life Insurance client who require an actuarial contractor to support pricing activities
The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part qualified actuary with demonstrable experience of pricing protection products within the UK market
The client is extremely well regarded, and will provide a excellent addition to a contractors profile. They also offer an incredibly supportive environment, which is perfect for a first time contractor
Location: Ideally 1 day per week in London (negotiable based on experience)
Rate: up to £700 per day (Negotiable on experience)
Status: Inside IR35 (you will operate via an Umbrella company)
Duration: 3 to 6 month initial contract
Start Date: As soon as possible, ideally starting in July or early August
The client offers the potential for extensions, or a permanent position to be considered after the contract.
Required Experience
- Qualified or Part Qualified Life actuary
- Experience in a pricing role
- Strong knowledge of UK protection products
- Previous contracting experience is NOT required.
