Project Manager - 18 month FTC
Oliver James are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our market leading client on an initial 18 month FTC, which will then go permanent.
You will be leading, managing and delivering transformation projects established to deliver the Transformational Change agenda. The aim of this role and the Transformation function is to deliver the change required to enable our organisation to achieve its vision. Working with Sponsors & Senior Stakeholders to translate strategy into outcomes, define the roadmap for change and ensure that the programmes and projects are delivered to time, cost and quality.
Key responsibilities for the Project Manager:
- Define, implementation, monitoring and reporting against change portfolio, whilst also, undertaking hands on delivery
- Provision of progress & risk balanced data for the Transformation PMO to enable sound decision making
- Implement & embed the PMO standards for the portfolio & contribute towards the continuous improvement of the people, tools and processes within in the Transformation function
- Promotes the capture of best practice and knowledge sharing
Key skills for the Project Manager:
- Track record of delivering projects to time, cost and quality.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and effective communicator.
- Self-motivated, proactive and customer focused with excellent organisational skills.
- Experience in business analysis and requirement definition
- Knowledge of project governance frameworks, planning tools, delivery methodologies and best practices
