We are currently seeking high a calibre individual to join us as Project Manager, to deliver on a Wholesale Banking project.

Principal responsibilities

  • To manage end to end delivery of project/ system implementation, work flow design, and process re-engineering in Wholesale Banking
  • Actively monitor the project scope and resources to meet the project schedule and budget
  • Work closely with various stakeholders including business users, operations, IT, audit, legal, and compliance to ensure effective project governance
  • Work with various businesses/ functions on project prioritisation to optimise resources usage, with the responsibility to oversee the overall budget management, resources allocation and prioritisation amongst all projects
  • Proactively manage all the potential risks on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required
  • Keep abreast on latest technology/ best practices in banking industry and deliver changes to current processes with efficiency and cost improvement
  • Foster a high engagement team to deliver good quality outputs that exceed user expectations


Qualifications - External Requirements

  • University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience, preferably with knowledge of wholesale banking products and bank operations.
  • Previous experience as a project manager in medium-to-large scale projects will be a plus
  • Ability to overcome challenges, create innovative solutions and work in an agile environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and create connection with others
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
