An exciting senior role has just become available with one of leading FS firms globally. My client is renowned Financial Services firm that provides multidisciplinary services from insurance to asset management, with a strong presence in Asia region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive a portfolio of CTO projects/programmes across Asia region
  • Lead creation and delivery of reporting decks for major senior steering committees, monthly country/global CTO and quarterly CEO meetings.
  • Work with business unit Transformation Office lead and finance to understand and remediate budget shortfall variances
  • Support management of the Group CTO budget including regular reporting across Platforms /CoEs in conjunction with Technology business and Group Finance and ensure accurate and timely cost recharges to countries
  • Manage Group Digital RFPs /SOWs including RFP creation, running the RFP /SOW process and collaborating with stakeholders within both Group Technology and other Group Functions (e.g. Group Sourcing) to ensure materials are of high quality and best practice process is followed
  • High quality stakeholder management especially Group/Local CEOs, CIO workstream leads and country CTO and TO heads
  • Deliver monthly data insights to address issues related to KPIs and platform performance for all BUs
  • Management of Group CTO costs within budget and accurate /timely recharges to BUs
  • Impact to BUs - KPI /benefits eg increase productivity /make it easier to get things done /do business (quality). Applies to Agent productivity for example
  • All risk and compliance policies adhered to and related processes followed in the course of RFP and vendor management

Key requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in project management - a consultancy background insurance or financial services is preferred
  • People management experience with a track record of achieving goals with diverse team members
  • Proven leadership capability in a corporate environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Excellent presentation skill with experiences presenting to senior management
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Take in ambiguous tasks with competing priorities and deliver them in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Must be a driven self-starter and take ownership to define a way forward for ambiguous tasks
