A financial services client of ours is seeking for a Technology Product Management Lead - you will oversee the governance framework and reporting processes for their technology products, ensuring they align with strategic goals, adhere to regulations, and facilitate clear communication among stakeholders. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of product management principles and governance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement governance frameworks for technology product management, which include policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory standards.
- Lead the design and implementation of reporting processes and metrics to monitor the performance and status of technology products, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, data analysts) to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish effective reporting mechanisms.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of technology products to identify areas for enhancement and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to product management teams on best practices in governance, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between product management, executive leadership, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment.
- Keep updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to product management and governance, integrating pertinent insights into processes and strategies
Experiences and Qualifications:
- Approximately 10+ years proven experience in technology or business product management with a focus on governance, compliance, and reporting
- Strong understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive results in a dynamic environment
- Experience working in a regulatory industry is a plus
- Certification in product management is desirable
