Powerbuilder Engineer | Application Engineer | Zug | 125K CHF | EU Relocation

This is an exciting opportunity to work for one Switzerland's leading commodity trader, they are looking for an experienced Powerbuilder engineer to build new and expand on existing applications within the the finance and treasury teams. The reason this team are growing is because they are taking on new projects, EU relocation is a possibility.

You will be working as part of a larger application team, database administrators, product owners to integrate the current stack into different applications (internal and external) and build new applications (Powerbuilder, Java or .Net). This will require you to have an effective communication style (English) in order to properly understand business requirements and how improve applications.

An ideal candidate will have experience in building Powerbuilding applications on an Oracle database using SQL and PL/SQL. Java and .Net are nice to have's because they are planning on renewing the application landscape in the near future.

Tech:

  • Powerbuilder, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle (4+ years)
  • Java or .Net (desirable)
  • Agile methodology

This is an urgent role that pays up to 125K CHF and will require you to be in the office x5 days per week because the amount of remote working after lock down has not yet been confirmed.
