Overview: We are seeking an experienced POS Project Manager to oversee the implementation and deployment of our POS solutions for retail clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing POS projects, possess strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end POS project lifecycles from initiation to closure.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and issue resolution.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, motivating them to meet project objectives.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in POS system implementations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) as a Project Manager managing POS or similar technology projects, preferably in the retail industry.
- Solid understanding of POS systems, hardware, software, and integrations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
- Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
