As a Non-life Pricing Analyst/Actuary, you play a part in setting our rates and conducting extensive analysis to grow and increase profits. Within Pricing, Underwriting & Fraud you work together with a team of experienced analysts who all have a close relationship with the company and are part of an international community.

This are your responsibilities

As a Pricing Actuary you perform and deliver acceptance and fraud analyses, you interpret the output and communicate the results to both a technical and non-technical audience. You contribute to their continuous improvement of underwriting and fraud processes by monitoring portfolio performance. You propose changes, implement them and you test the changes in acceptance and fraud rules. You align with risk, compliance and legal stakeholders and manage risk assessments and the terms and conditions for your field. You also have experience in applying predictive modeling to generate increasingly better analyses.

This is you

You have strong analytical skills, a creative mind and you have a great interest in data-driven decision-making. You are enterprising and you find innovations in the insurance industry interesting. In addition, do you have or are you:

  • A bachelor's or university degree in Actuarial Science, Econometrics or another quantitative field.
  • At least 4 years of working experience as an Actuary within the non-life sector
  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as SQL, Python or R.
  • Experience with Emblem and Radar are a huge plus.
