Modelling Actuary -

Oliver James's Actuarial Recruitment team has a long-established relationship with a prominent UK Life Insurer, and has assisted in the growth of their Actuarial Function for several years.

Currently, we are looking to help source a nearly or newly qualified actuary to join their Model Development team, which focuses on Prophet models.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to work on the design, development and testing of our actuarial models and processes. You'll work with actuarial professionals, technical leaders and clients to make code changes to the Prophet models, test and assess the changes and alter where needed.

The purpose of this role is to integrate all developments and alterations to the models into a single refined version of the model.

-Nearly or newly qualified actuary
-Experience within Life Insurance or Pensions
-Strong communication
-Experience in, or strong interest in coding
