For one of our financial clients in The Randstad we are looking for a Medior Network Engineer. You will be part of a team that is the owner of the technology that enables the SOC and make sure that their business applications are well protected. The main focus will be evaluating and judging firewall changes and helping development teams to create an architecture that is compliant with the clients network security standards.
Requirements for this role:
Basic skills
- Good understanding of network infrastructure in large organisation
- Good understanding of Infrastructure needs in large organisation
- Good understanding of cloud-based network infrastructure and design
Specific skills
- Extensive knowledge of Network security and Cloud Security
- Knowledge of and hands-on in network management tools and automation
- On par with technology and cyber security trends
Other skills
- Good communications skills, ability to reach an agreement on requirements and solutions in communications with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation
- Experience in working in agile projects
- Self-organizing and control
- Just-do-it mentality
- Relevant network certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP or CCIE
- 'Getting-things-done'-approach
- Willing to learn a lot and not afraid to ask for help
