Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of reinsurance accounting operations
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of reinsurance premiums, claims, commissions, and recoverables.
- Monitor treaty agreements to ensure correct financial implementation and compliance with contractual terms.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline accounting processes.
- Prepare reinsurance financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for both internal stakeholders and external auditors..
- Support regulatory reporting and Solvency II compliance as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Actuarial, Underwriting, Legal, and Risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/ACA/ACCA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in insurance/reinsurance and experience with managing 2/3 teams members
- Business level English & Spanish
