London Market Insurer - London - C#/Python Developer
Responsibilities:
- Development of frameworks around finance models using Azure hosted APIs, Azure hosted Databases, DevOps pipelines, Containerisation using Docker, Messaging using Azure Service Bus.
- Effective and transparent communication with all departments (Business, IT, Architecture and Operations)
- Implement solutions in line with architectural designs and software templates/patterns
- Perform quality assurance checks, code reviews and testing as part of continuous delivery
- Collaboratively engage with stakeholders in defining requirements, agreeing solution designs prioritise tasks and conduct feedback demo
Skills:
- Strong Python programming skills
- Good database development skills
- Knowledge of enterprise level architecture (RESTful APIs, microservices, containerisation eg; Docker)
- Knowledge of building Devops (CI/CD pipelines and automated testing)
- 5+ years commercial experience o Experience of Agile Development practice o Excellent interpersonal skills
