Oliver James is supporting a major insurance client who require a qualified Life Actuary to support with reporting activities on a 6 month, day-rate contract
This role sits within a dynamic and high quality group function offering exposure to a range of really interesting work in the UK and international reporting space.
This is an OUTSIDE IR35 Assignment
The ideal candidate will be a qualified or experienced Life Actuary with significant experience in Financial Reporting - Solvency II and IFRS. The contractor will be required to have strong technical skills along with strong stakeholder management.
Start: around Feb 2022
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience and in line with market rates
Status: Outside IR35
Location: London. Working from home is fine. Office visits are beneficial
Required Experience
- Qualified Life actuary, ideally with at least 3 years PQE (more is welcome)
- Strong knowledge of UK reporting metrics - Solvency II and IFRS
- Strong communication skills and experience communicating with senior stakeholders
- Strong technical skills and experience working to deadlines and delivering results
