A leading specialty insurer operating across the US and Europe, is seeking a Legacy Finance Manager to join their growing team. This Company was just listed as a "top 100 alternative management firm" and are in the process of launching their IPO. With their high M&A model, they average about 19 legacy acquisitions per year and have a cutting edge investment strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a department that is going through a transformative, value enhancing, and integrating team.
Location: 100% Remote
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Maintains a detailed knowledge and understanding of the Legacy Insurance segment's business
- Owns monitoring of financial performance of Legacy Bermuda and reports to Global Head of Legacy
- Provides support for strategic initiatives and special projects and develops key performance metrics
- Oversight for legal entity financial statements (US GAAP) for specific entities within defined segment - including local allocations & recharge approvals, valuation & disclosure models
- Review and approve all Bermuda local statutory and regulatory reports
- Responsible for liaising and engaging with relevant legal entity Board Members and management, including oversight of audit committees
Experience and Education:
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Understanding of US GAAP reporting
- Strong understanding of data analysis and forecasting, risk management and corporate financial law
- Reinsurance/Legacy Insurance knowledge
- Knowledge of BSCR is a plus
Salary: $175K - $200K
