We are seeking a Junior GIS Analyst & Designer to join our dynamic team in the telecom sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our network planning, optimization, and expansion efforts through the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology.

Your primary responsibilities will include data collection, spatial analysis, map design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Management: Gather and manage geographic data relevant to our telecom infrastructure, including satellite imagery, surveys, and existing databases.
  • Spatial Analysis: Utilize GIS software to perform spatial analysis techniques such as buffering, overlay, and network analysis to support network planning and optimization activities.
  • Map Design and Visualization: Design visually compelling maps and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial information to stakeholders, including coverage maps, service areas, and network performance indicators.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update spatial databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility for analysis and decision-making purposes.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS, with a solid understanding of spatial analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of cartographic principles and design techniques for creating effective maps.
  • Strong data management skills, including database management and data cleaning.
  • Basic programming skills in Python or R for automation and customization (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • French is Mandatory
