For one of our clients I am looking for candidates in Finance with ambitions within Business Control. You will contribute to the business with a focus on costs. The Junior Business controller provides high-quality management reporting in accordance with accounting, company policy and supports the optimization of business and finance.
You would be part of the Business Controlling team and report to the head of business control.
Your main responsibilities are:
* Preparation of financial reports, budgets and financial forecasts on a regular basis
* Perform month-end closing activities according to month-end schedule
* Perform analysis of month-end results and management reporting
* Participate in system/process improvement and standardization/automation initiatives
* Review and improve existing processes
* Development and Maintenance of BI-systems such as PowerBI
Profile, skills, requirements
You are a flexible, curious, pro-active and hands-on person, a real team player and a conceptual thinker. You have should have a helicopter view but are willing to dig deep into details if required. You have strong analytical skills and work accurate.
Key requirements:
* IFRS knowledge
* Accounting knowledge
* 2 - 5 years relevant work experience
* Relevant Bachelor or Master Degree
* P2P process understanding
* R2R process understanding
* Excellent in MS Access, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint (work with large amounts of data, modelling skills)
* Fluently in English
* Fluently in Dutch or willing to learn Dutch
