For a leading and international Insurance Company I'm looking for an IT Service Operations Manager.

She/He will lead the operational aspects of IT services: resolving incidents, identifying underlying causes of recurring issues, monitoring service performance to meet agreed-upon standards, coordinating changes and releases to minimize disruption, managing configuration data, generating performance reports, and collaborating with various teams.

The service is part of a multi-country international program.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand insurance products business features and manage IT operations to and related processes
  • Manage running documentation efficiently, acting as focal point for different teams
  • Continuously monitor and ensure compliance with all KPIs of the running
  • Effectively own, manage and communicate with Service Manager and Business to solve critical business issues
  • Incident management
  • Problem management
  • Monitoring and controlling IT system performance in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Assessment, planning, implementation, and control of changes to IT systems to ensure they are made with minimal impact on operations
  • Release management: to ensure effective implementation without disruption of services
  • Reporting and analysis: Generating periodic reports on IT service performance and analyzing data to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities


  • 5+ years of professional experience on Insurance Industry
  • Proven experience on RGI PASS PRODUCT solution
  • Proven experience on insurance policies life cycle (e.g., Life, P&C)
  • Proven experience on insurance processes (e.g., Claims, Underwriting)
  • Knowledge on SQL language and inquiry
  • Fluent in both Italian and English (minimum requirement B2, C1 preferred)
  • Certification: ITIL Foundation, ITIL OSA, ITIL CSI
  • Certification: Microsoft Certified for Azure
  • Master or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Ability to manage complexity, to work and collaborate in a cross cultural and cross functional environment
  • Proactive and positive attitude, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
