Insurance Sales Manager - Contract

Oliver James is partnering with a leading personal lines insurance provider business based in Hannover who are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to work on an initial 6-month contract.

You will be responsible for identifying and building new business opportunities in B2C and B2B2C sales, building programmes to strengthen the relationships with 3rd party businesses. You will also have overall responsibility for the hands-off team leadership of 20 sales executives.

The role offers extensive flexible working arrangements, competitive daily rates and the opportunity to play critical role in the revenue engine of the company, collaborating closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to refine my clients go-to-market approach and expand their footprint in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients, market segments, and business opportunities within associated single businesses
  • Generate leads through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, and partnerships
  • Develop tailored pitches and presentations that align with prospect needs and business objectives
  • Manage the full sales cycle - from outreach and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close

Requirements

  • Identify and research potential clients, market segments, and business opportunities in the vets, breeders markets and pet related associated single businesses
  • Generate leads through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, and partnerships
  • Develop tailored pitches and presentations that align with prospect needs and business objectives
  • Manage the full sales cycle-from outreach and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Business Fluent in both English & German

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Hannover, Germany

Contract Duration: 6-month initial contract, with potential for extension
