Industrial Automation IOT/ MES
You will be shaping and supporting our industry path in our different factories. As an IOT engineer you are part of the Global IT team. In this role you work closely with the business process team, IT project leaders, business project leaders, business key users, IT teams, and suppliers. For some projects you will act as project leader.
JOB
- Providing end to end solutions supporting business processes concerning industrial networks, PLC's, process control systems, historians, manufacturing execution systems and laboratory information management systems.
- You will be responsible for the screening of engineering projects for Technology impact. You will support and coordinate the implementation to be aligned with the IT strategy
- You work closely together with global and local engineering and automation teams as well as third parties.
- As an MES / IOT engineer you will assist and provide solid and secure system designs and solutions to solve various business requirements.
- You engage in business decision/ discussions related to agility, business value, and business processes and provide input to the architectural review board when needed.
- You develop automation best practices, standards and policies PROFILE
PROFILE
- You have a minimum experience level of 3 years in an industrial manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of industrial automation or IT architecture (application and infra)
- You have experience with working in international teams and external partners
- You have strong analytical skills
- Fluent in English
