Position Overview: As the Group Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial integrity and providing strategic insights to support our international growth. Your exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong business acumen will be critical in managing and optimizing our financial processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Develop and maintain robust financial control systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and KPIs for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and monitor internal and external audits to ensure adherence to financial regulations and best practices.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with international teams to streamline financial processes, optimize performance, and manage risks.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant financial regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their development and ensuring high performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Group Controller in a multinational company or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Experience in managing international financial operations and working with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting tools, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and a passion for continuous improvement.
