Our client, a global private equity firm based in Greenwich, is in the market for a strong Fund Accountant to join their growing finance and accounting function. The role will have you join a tight knit team and culture where you will work closely with every member of the team, including senior leadership. Main responsibilities in this role will include NAV review, financial reporting, investor reporting, along with managing external and internal relationships.
Other Responsibilities:
- Review and assess workpapers delivered by external administration partners
- Assist in managing external relationships
- Prepare management fee calculations, including offset amounts and waiver contributions
- Assist with the preparation of capital call and distribution calculations, notices, and allocations
- Update carried interest/waterfall models
- Prepare quarterly and yearly financial statements and supporting schedules
- Assist with year-end process with senior management and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Master's Degree or CPA a plus
- 2+ years' experience in alternative investment accounting, with a particular emphasis on closed-ended fund structures
- Strong Excel skills, experience with Advent Geneva a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, self-starter attitude
