I am currently looking for a freelance Senior database administrator for one of my clients based in Walloon Brabant. My client is active in the manufacturing sector.
Experience Requirements :
- Responsible for the design, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of databases
- Troubleshoot software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Managing accesses and security
- Databases backup management
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure and solutions
Technical Skills :
- Knowledge and understanding of main databases technologies
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB, S3 Object Storage, TimeScaleDB
- Knowledge of Kubernetes environment
- Scripting skills (Powershell, Python, …)
- Knowledge of French and English
