We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our team at a Life Insurance Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis activities of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis of financial performance.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with business partners to develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.

* Analyze and report on key financial metrics and trends to support business decision-making and strategic planning.

* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial performance analysis.

* Support the development of annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, including coordination with business units to gather input and assumptions.

* Assist in the preparation of executive-level presentations and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.

* Partner with accounting team to ensure proper and accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

* Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling as requested by management.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

* 2-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.

* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex financial data.

* Solid understanding of financial statements and GAAP accounting principles.

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

* Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

* Knowledge of life insurance products and industry trends is a plus.
