Our client is a market leading insurance firm with a well established finance team and strong business within Hong Kong. They are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to join their Financial Reporting team. The right candidate will perform daily reporting duties to ensure the accuracy of accounting records and the compliance with accounting standards and group reporting policy.
Job Duties:
- Prepare month-end closing and ensure the tight deadlines can be met
- Handle monthly and quarterly group reporting submissions
- Handle monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Prepare statutory audited financial statements
- Support year end audit, incl. liaise with the auditors and handles the requests from them
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is preferred
- Member of professional accounting body (e.g. ACCA, HKICPA), i.e. qualified accountant is preferred
- Proficient in Excel
- Over 5 years accounting experience on financial accounting and reporting in life insurance industry
- Good in communication and interpersonal skills
