Our client is a market leading Life Insurer with great reputation within the industry. They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager to join their financial reporting team. The right candidate will focus on IFRS 17 reporting, handling month end closing and preparing monthly financial reports. Job duties:
- Supports month end closing activities, eg. journal entries, accounts reconciliation, review journals
- Manages and performs balance sheet reconciliation
- Handles the annual audit and other statutory filing with external auditors
- Participates in IFRS 17 implementation and UAT
Job requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or other related discipline
- Minimum 5 years working experience in accounting and financial reporting field for Assistant Manager, 3 years experience for Senior Accountant
- CPA qualification is a plus
- Exposure in life insurance reporting/auditing is highly preferable
